Stay in Downtown Providence

From June through August, RISD opens its residence halls, allowing non-RISD organizations and interns in the area to stay overnight, eat in the campus dining facility, and utilize RISD’s amenities. Residence halls are affordable and conveniently located in downtown Providence.

Housing options include:

15 Westminster

15 West offers 2, 3, & 4 Bedroom Suites. Suites offer single occupancy bedrooms and shared common space.
​Each suite includes free campus wifi, air conditioning, a shared half bath and shower room, & a kitchenette with oven, cooktop, & full size refrigerator. Many suites also contain a shared living room.
Bedrooms are furnished with a desk & chair, wardrobe, & a twin XL bed. 

Hill Houses

Hill house accommodations are non airconditioned, but give you lots of privacy. Houses contain a variety of rooming styles, with options ranging from one to four occupants per room. Most houses have lounges, full kitchens, and laundry facilities. Each room is furnished with one extra long twin bed, one desk, one chair, and wardrobe per person. Free campus wifi is available to all guests.

Freemont Ave

If you are a small group looking for the perfect weekend getaway, check out Freemont Ave. This seaside home is located about 20 minutes from Providence, in the town of Barrington, RI. It features breathtaking views of the Narragansett Bay, and grassy fields to the sandy beach. The property has 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The house is an ideal relaxing get away.
